For example, the CPU error the 1.0.0.2 patch fixed was a simple mistake which could have been prevented. As much as I like to root for the underdog, and want competition, their CPU's are horrible for having issues with gaming.Īctually, in my opinion the devs are to blame as well for not testing it thoroughly. I don't know, but I'm not the only one that's having problems with 1.0.0.3. Crashes when I begin to play, crashes after half an hour playing, lags sometimes (especially on Mother Base), etc. Then I updated it to Beta 1.0.0.2 (released hours after launch and aimed to fix those CPU errors) and it worked - I played for more than 20 hours (a lot of times 3+ hours straight) with no crashes whatsoever.Īfter Steam automatically downloaded the 1.0.0.3 patch (yesterday I guess?), the game turned into an unstable mess. I was just clarifying that the game version on launch day (1.0.0.0? 1.0.0.1?) did not work for me (long story short, because of my CPU). I have had the correct Nvidia drivers (Game Ready Driver 355.82) since launch day downloaded it using Geforce Experience. If you aren't using that driver, you need to do so. They made it specifically to improve performance and reliability on this game. Before the game was even finished downloading on launch night, I downloaded the GeForce Game Ready Driver, and have been using that. I'm using 1.0.03 as well and it's working fine.
